The history of KUST Resources and Environmental Law Institute (KUSTRELI) can be traced back to the 1990s. There are ten full-time professional staff working with KUSTRELI, including 4 full professors, 4 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors. The professors take actively part in many national and international academic organizations and groups，i.e., IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, China-Thailand GMS Legal Research and Consulting Center, Environment and Resources Law Society of China Law Society, Environmental Law Branch of China Environmental Science Society, Yunnan Provincial Law Society, Yunnan Provincial Futurology Society, Yunnan Provincial Association of Municipal Engineering, Kunming Law Society, etc.
We have published more than 10 Monographs and 18 textbooks; received 11 provincial and above level academic prizes and awards; and published over 100 research papers in various journals. More than 300 master students have graduated from KUSTRELI.
