From March 29 to 31, 2019, Professor Li Wanlin, Dean of Law School of Kunming University of Science and Technology, was invited to attend the first "China-ASEAN law school dean forum" & " academic seminar of building China-ASEAN Community of common destiny and integrating legal education and research" in Chongqing. Deans and experts from ASEAN universities and domestic universities attended the forum. The purpose of the forum is to explore the normalization mechanism of co-construction of legal teaching and research exchanges, enable to provide a strong legal guarantee for the construction of a closer community of common destiny between China and ASEAN.

At the forum, President Li Wanlin made a keynote speech, comprehensively introduced the basic situation, characteristics and advantages as well as the training mechanism for international students of the law school of Kunming University of science and technology, and put forward relevant suggestions on how to deepen legal research and exchange, innovate the training mechanism for legal talents, build legal database and service platform, and strengthen social service function.

This exchange is of positive significance to the establishment of international legal talents education cooperation and the promotion of the Law School's international education.
