A memorandum of cooperation between the Law School of Philippine University of technology and the Law School of Kunming University of Science and Technology was signed by Li Wanlin, dean of Law School of Kunming University of technology and Professor Festin, dean of the Law school of Philippine University of technology. Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation between two parties, and carry out short-term exchange projects for students, academic research cooperation and jointly hold international academic conferences and forums.

From November 6 to 15, 2019, at the invitation of the Law School of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, the Law School of University of Indonesia, and the Bar Association of Malaysia, Professor Li Wanlin visited the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia as a member of Yunnan Law Society delegation.
